Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 13, 2010 as Plaza Frontenac once again hosts the largest and most exciting event of its kind in the Midwest, the 23rd Annual St. Louis European Auto Show, benefiting the St. Louis Shriners Hospital for Children!
10,000 St. Louis area car lovers are expected to come out to enjoy nearly 250 of the finest exotic and classic automobiles at this incredible event!
Sponsorship is provided by many leading local businesses, automobile dealerships, banks, business leaders and generous private individuals.
Local car clubs generously support this huge community benefit also, with most setting up displays and information tents. A great time to join your favorite club or check out what’s new in finishing off your garage!
Thrill to the site of your favorite European automobiles all lined up together, accompanied by their friendly, true car enthusiast owners! Crowd favorites include autos representing Alfa Romeo, Austin Healey, Bentley, BMW, Bugatti, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Lotus, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Mini Cooper, Porsche, Rolls Royce, Triumph, Volkswagen and many others.
The St. Louis European Auto Show provides a rare opportunity to view some incredible locally-owned automobiles, some valued above one-million dollars!
Admission is free to the public, but public donations to the Shriners are always appreciated. They will have an information tent to explain the fantastic things that they do for children across the nation. Food and refreshments are available from the Maplewood Lions Club and other area eateries.
Beautiful commemorative trophies will be awarded out to favorites among groups of car makes containing 10 or more entries, as voted upon by their fellow participants. Larger groups, such as Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, Mini, Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar may receive multiple trophies based upon their expected number of entries.
In return for a small donation to the Shriners, spectators will be given a chance to vote on the "People’s Choice Award". Additional Major Sponsor Awards will be given at the Awards Presentation at 3 PM.
The St. Louis Shriners Hospital for Children has provided comprehensive orthopedic care to over 80,000 deserving children at no charge to their families. Through their generosity and support throughout the community and nation, many children can now live normal lives despite horrific accidents or birth defects.
Please join in supporting this great cause on Sunday, June 13 at Plaza Frontenac (North Parking area, directly outside Saks Fifth Avenue), 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
